Panasonic MDF series biomedical freezers are designed for short- or
intermediate-term storage at temperatures as low
as -30°C. Constructed with high-performance laboratory and
clinical-grade refrigeration systems, these freezers are
used in medical, biotechnology and industrial labs for storage of blood
components, enzymes, culture media, reagents, specimens and vaccines.
Panasonic Designed Refrigeration
Panasonic designed and manufactured compressors specifically
for storage applications in a laboratory environment. Application
specific refrigeration assures stable, uniform temperatures
throughout the chamber
Microprocessor Controls
Comprehensive setpoint, alarm, monitoring and diagnostic
functions maintained by Panasonic built microprocessor controller
with digital display of all input/output function.
Enzyme and Biologics Preservation
Storage at -30°C and -20°C easily with constant stable control. Uniform
temperatures are maintained throughout the chamber using evaporator
shelf cooling.
Enzyme & Biologics Preservation (Manual Defrost)
Validatable storage at -30°C and -20°C with constant stable control.
Because there is no defrost cycle, uniform temperatures are
maintained throughout the chamber using evaporator shelf cooling.
Environment-Friendly
HFC refrigerant R-404A is environment-friendly and offers
superb performance. A pre-coated metal body design causes
less environmental damage than outer paint coating. All Panasonic
equipment is also RoHS compliant. (European directive on the
Restriction of Hazardous Substances)
Safety Features
Designed with a host of safety features including high/low temperature
alarms, power failure alarms, remote alarm contacts,
self diagnostics, and an optional recording system.
