The ICR-FP550e can playback audio files at three different speeds; SLOW, normal (labeled SPEED) and FAST. This allows users to adjust the playback speed – up or down, making it easier to understand and transcribe voice files such as class lectures. Voice Activated System (VAS) Technology
Voice Activated System (VAS) technology automatically starts recording when the unit senses sound levels which are above a minimum, user-adjustable, threshold level. The microphone threshold sensitivity levels are selectable from SEN LOW, SEN MID and SEN HIGH to find just the right level to trigger VAS recording.
