(EDC) of the SANYO Electric Co., Ltd. supplies a wide range of key components that

motors and photonics used by OEM’s around the world.

Think GAIA Commitment
RoHS - Among the many practices that we adhere to as part of our Think GAIA strategy
is RoHS (Restricting the use of Hazardous Substances) Compliance. This means that
POSCAP, OS-CON, SAW Devices, Digital tuners
are all produced in compliance with RoHS.
Promotion of Green Procurement - EDC adheres to the Green procurement Standards
for the purpose of reducing environmental load through recycling and effective use
of resources, as well as reducing the discharge of pollutants that can burden on
the environment.
Environmentally-Friendly Products without Compromising Quality - Saving energy,
while manufacturing environmentally-friendly products, is part of our everyday process.
We also practice the 3R’s - reduce, reuse and recycle which includes reduction of
chemicals. The products that have been certified as "Environmentally-Friendly Quality
Products" are:
