1 Connect a cable from the Cable Service wall plate to the DVD recorder “IN” terminal.

2 Connect the DVD recorder “OUT” terminal to the ANT terminal on the DTV using a 75 ohm coaxial cable.

Optional AV Connections for better quality playback

3 Connect a 4-pin round S-Video cable from the DVD recorder to the S-Video jack on the DTV.

4 Connect an audio cable to the matching White and Red audio jacks.

5 With the DVD recorder powered OFF, press the MENU key and select All Channel Search to program in your Cable channels. (Refer to the owner’s manual for specific “All Channel Search” instructions.)

6 Use the INPUT key on the DTV’s remote to select Video 2 to watch DVDs.

NOTES: This hookup does not provide for off-air digital channels to be received. Only Cable channels are received by the DTV tuner.

You can record and watch different channel.
