CABLE BOX TO DTV HOOKUPS
Choose the best connection available. The RF output (75 ohm) from a Cable box is an analog signal.
Therefore, the RF terminal (ANT) is best reserved for an antenna connection to receive local digital channels.
COMPOSITE AV CONNECTIONS (VIDEO2)
S-VIDEO AV CONNECTIONS (VIDEO2)
1 Connect your Cable Box to the VIDEO2 jacks, as shown here, matching connector colors to jack colors.
2 Press the INPUT key on the DTV’s remote to select Video 2.
3 Use the Cable Box’s remote to change channels.

1 Connect a 4-pin round S-Video cable from your Cable Box to the S-Video jack on the DTV.
2 Connect an audio cable to the matching White and Red audio jacks.
3 Press the INPUT key on the DTV’s remote to select Video 2.
4 Use the Cable Box’s remote to change channels.
