1 Connect a cable from the Cable Service wall plate to the DVD recorder “IN” terminal. 2 Connect an antenna to the ANT terminal on the DTV. 3 Connect a 4-pin round S-Video cable from the DVD recorder to the S-Video jack on the DTV. 4 Connect an audio cable to the matching White and Red audio jacks. 5 Press the MENU key on the DTV’s remote and select All Channel Search to program in off -air antenna channels. (Refer to the owner’s manual for specific instructions.) |
6 Use the INPUT key on the DTV’s remote to select Video 2 to watch DVDs or Cable channels. NOTES: This hookup provides for off-air digital channels to be received. You can record an analog Cable channel and watch off-air analog or digital channels, where available. DVD recorder must be powered ON and the DTV set to view Video 2 signals to watch Cable channels, see Step 6. Select Cable channels with the DVD recorder’s tuner. |
