CABLE / VCR / ANTENNA / DTV HOOKUP OPTIONS
Choose the best connection available on your VCR. Refer to the owner’s
manual that came with your VCR for available hookup options and operating instructions.
Contact your Cable provider for information about your service.
CABLE / VCR / AV CONNECTIONS (VIDEO2)

1 Connect a cable from the Cable Service wall plate to the “IN” terminal on the VCR.

2 Connect an antenna to the ANT terminal on the DTV.

3 Connect your VCR to the VIDEO2 jacks on the DTV, as shown here, matching connector colors to jack colors.

4 Press the MENU key on the DTV’s remote and select All Channel Search to program in off-air antenna channels. (Refer to the owner’s manual for specific instructions.)

5 Use the INPUT key on the DTV’s remote to select Video 2 for VCR playback or to watch analog Cable channels.

 

NOTES: This hookup provides for off-air digital channels to be received.

You can record an analog Cable channel and watch off-air analog or digital channel when available.

VCR must be powered ON and the DTV set to view Video 2 signals to watch Cable channels, see Step 5.

Select Cable channels with the VCR tuner.
