1 Connect a cable from the Cable Service wall plate to the “IN” terminal on the VCR. 2 Connect an antenna to the ANT terminal on the DTV. 3 Connect your VCR to the VIDEO2 jacks on the DTV, as shown here, matching connector colors to jack colors. 4 Press the MENU key on the DTV’s remote and select All Channel Search to program in off-air antenna channels. (Refer to the owner’s manual for specific instructions.) 5 Use the INPUT key on the DTV’s remote to select Video 2 for VCR playback or to watch analog Cable channels. |
NOTES: This hookup provides for off-air digital channels to be received. You can record an analog Cable channel and watch off-air analog or digital channel when available. VCR must be powered ON and the DTV set to view Video 2 signals to watch Cable channels, see Step 5. Select Cable channels with the VCR tuner. |
