RECEIVER / DVD RECORDER / ANTENNA / DTV HOOKUPS
Refer to the user’s guide that came with your Satellite receiver and your DVD recorder owner’s manual for instructions.
SATELLITE / DVD RECORDER / ANTENNA / AV CONNECTIONS (VIDEO2)

1 Connect the Satellite receiver “OUT” terminal to the DVD recorder “IN” terminal using a 75 ohm coaxial cable.

2 Connect an Antenna to the ANT terminal on the DTV.

3 Connect the Satellite receiver S-Video Out and Audio Out jacks to the DVD recorder S-Video In and Audio In jacks, matching audio connector colors to jack colors (optional for better recording quality).

4 Connect the DVD recorder S-Video Out and Audio Out jacks to the DTV VIDEO2 S-Video and Audio In jacks, matching audio connector colors to jack colors.

5 Press the MENU key on the DTV’s remote and select All Channel Search to program in off-air antenna channels. (Refer to the owner’s manual for specific instructions.)

6 Use the INPUT key on the DTV’s remote to select Video 2 to watch Satellite channels and DVDs.

 

NOTES: You can record a satellite channel and watch off-air analog and digital channels, where available.

The DVD recorder must be powered ON and the DTV set to view Video 2 signals to watch Satellite channels, see Step 6. You can record stereo sound.

Set DVD recorder channel to match RF output from Satellite receiver (usually channel 2, 3, or 4). Check with your provider for details.
