1 Connect the Antenna signal to the “ANT ” terminal on the DTV. 2 Perform an “All Channel Search.” The All Channel Search will search for off-air digital and analog channels. The DTV can receive cable or off-air channels, but not at the same time. If after two searches the DTV still fails to detect any channels, the DTV will tune to Video1.

NOTES: Devices with RF pass-through terminals (such as DVD Recorders and VCRs) can be connected in any order. However, when more than one device is connected in this series those additional devices should have component output jacks. The Antenna signal is passed through each device in a serial fashion via the RF in /out terminals. A VCR’s TV/VCR switch must be set to TV. With this connection the antenna signal can be used by each device as it passes through to the DTV. That means that each recording device connected in the series can record a unique channel while you watch a different channel. To view signals from the VCR and DVD Recorder, connect them to the DTV via the audio video jacks (click on VCR or DVD Recorder for AV hookup options). |
