Choose the best connection available. An RF connection from this device offers only basic resolution and is best reserved for an antenna to receive local HD channels.

1 Connect your Cable Box to the VIDEO1 jacks, as shown here, matching connector colors to jack colors.

2 Press the INPUT key on the DTV remote to select Video 1.

3 Use the Cable Box’s remote to change channels.

1 Connect a 4-pin round S-Video cable from your Cable Box to the S-Video jack on the DTV.

2 Connect an audio cable to the matching White and Red audio jacks.

3 Press the INPUT key on the DTV remote to select Video 1.

4 Use the Cable Box’s remote to change channels.
