DVD PLAYER / HD DVD PLAYER / DVD RECORDER TO DTV HOOKUP OPTIONS
Choose the best connection available on your DVD Player, HD DVD Player, or DVD Recorder.
Refer to the owner’s manual that came with your DVD recorder for available hookup options and operating instructions.

COMPOSITE & S-VIDEO AV CONNECTIONS (VIDEO1)

1 Connect your device to the VIDEO1 jacks, as shown here, matching connector colors to jack colors.

1 If your device has an S-Video jack, connect a 4-pin round
S-Video cable from the device to the S-Video jack on the DTV, instead of the yellow connector.

2 Use the INPUT key on the DTV’s remote to select Video 1 to watch DVDs.

NOTE: For input connections to a DVD recorder, click on Antenna/DVD Recorder, Analog Cable/DVD Recorder, or Analog Cable Box/DVD Recorder.


COMPONENT AV CONNECTIONS (VIDEO2 & VIDEO3)

1 Connect a Component cable to a set of Green, Blue, and Red video jacks on the DTV and to the device.

2 Connect an Audio cable to the matching set of White and Red audio jacks on the DTV and to the device.

3 Press the INPUT key on the DTV’s remote to select Video 2 or Video 3 to match your connections.
