ADVANCED HIGH-DEFINITION SATELLITE RECEIVER TO DTV HOOKUPS
Choose the best connection available. You must hookup the HD Satellite receiver to either Component or HDMI jacks to watch “high-def” programming in HD.

An RF connection from this device to the DTV offers only basic resolution and is best reserved for an antenna to receive local HD channels.
Refer to the user’s guide that came with your HD Satellite receiver for available hookups and operating instructions.

HDMI CONNECTION (INPUT1, INPUT2, & INPUT3)

1 Connect an HDMI cable to the HD Satellite receiver and to one of the DTV’s HDMI Input jacks.

2 Press the INPUT key on the DTV’s remote to select HDMI 1, HDMI 2, or HDMI 3 to match your connection.

3 Use the Satellite receiver’s remote to change channels.

NOTE: Use any HDMI jack to connect your HDMI equipped Device.


DVI-TO-HDMI CONNECTIONS (INPUT1 ONLY)

1 Connect a DVI-to-HDMI adapter cable to the HD Satellite receiver and to DTV HDMI INPUT1.

2 Connect the HD Satellite receiver’s Audio out to the DTV VIDEO3 L/R Audio In jacks.

3 Use the INPUT key on the DTV’s remote to select HDMI 1.

4 Use the Satellite receiver’s remote to change channels.

NOTE: Component Video3 video cannot be used to connect any other device with this hookup option.
