ANALOG CABLE CONNECTION (RF)
1 Connect a 75 ohm coaxial cable from the Cable Service wall plate to the
ANT terminal on the DTV.
NOTES: If EXIT is pressed, the DTV will skip Channel Search and tune to Video1 without storing any channels in the Channel Map database. The illustrations depict a first time operation. Refer to the Owner’s Manual for instructions on how to use the Menu system to perform an All Channel Search for all other situations. Connecting your analog Cable service in this manner will NOT allow you to receive any local off-air digital channels that may be available. To connect an antenna to receive available local off-air digital channels and analog Cable channels, you must also connect a VCR or DVD Recorder. Click on Analog Cable/VCR or Analog Cable/DVD Recorder for those hookup options. |
COMPOSITE & S-VIDEO AV CONNECTIONS (VIDEO1)
1 Connect your device to the VIDEO1 jacks, as shown here, matching connector colors to jack colors. 1 If you have a Super VHS VCR, connect a 4-pin round S-Video cable from the Super VHS VCR to the S-Video jack on the DTV, instead of the yellow connector. 2 Use the INPUT key on the DTV's remote to select Video 1 for VCR playback. NOTE: For input connections to the VCR, click on Antenna/VCR, Analog Cable/VCR, or Analog Cable Box/VCR. |
