ANTENNA / SUPER VHS VCR / DTV HOOKUP OPTIONS
Refer to the owner’s manual that came with your Super VHS VCR for available hookup options and operating instructions.

ANTENNA / VCR / S-VIDEO AV CONNECTIONS (VIDEO1)

1 Connect the Antenna to the “ANT In” terminal on the VCR.

2 Connect the “Out to TV” terminal on the VCR to the ANT terminal on the DTV using a 75 ohm coaxial cable.

3Connect a 4-pin round S-Video cable from a Super VHS VCR to the
S-Video jack on the DTV.

4 Connect an audio cable to the matching White and Red audio jacks.

 

5 With the VCR turned OFF, press the MENU key and select All Channel Search to program in off-air antenna channels. (Refer to the owner’s manual for specific instructions.)

6 Use the INPUT key on the DTV’s remote to select Video 1 for VCR playback.

NOTES: This hookup allows the antenna signal to “pass through” to the DTV for
off-air analog and digital channels.

You can record an analog channel while watching a digital channel.

When the VCR is turned ON, the VCR’s TV/VCR switch must be in the TV position for antenna signals to “pass through” to the DTV tuner.
