ANTENNA / VCR / COMPOSITE AV CONNECTIONS (VIDEO1)

1 Connect the Antenna to the “IN” terminal on the VCR.

2 Connect the “OUT” terminal on the VCR to the ANT terminal on the DTV using a 75 ohm coaxial cable.

3 Connect your VCR to the VIDEO2 jacks on the DTV, as shown here, matching connector colors to jack colors (optional for better playback quality).

4 Connect an audio cable to the matching White and Red audio jacks.

5 With the VCR powered OFF, press the MENU key and select All Channel Search to program in off-air antenna channels. (Refer to the owner’s manual for specific instructions.)

6 Use the INPUT key on the DTV’s remote to select Video 1 for VCR playback.

NOTES: This hookup allows the antenna signal to “pass through” to the DTV for
off-air analog and digital channels, the VCR’s TV/VCR option must be set to TV when the VCR is powered On.

You can record an analog channel while watching a digital channel.

Set DTV channel to match RF output from VCR (usually channel 3 or 4).
