CABLE BOX / VCR / ANTENNA / AV CONNECTIONS (VIDEO1)

Connect a cable from the Cable Service wall
plate to the Cable Box In terminal.
2 Connect the Cable box “Out to TV” terminal to the VCR “In from Ant” terminal using a 75 ohm coaxial cable. 3 Connect an antenna to the ANT terminal on the DTV. 4 Connect your Cable box Video Out jacks to the VCR Video In jacks, matching connector colors to jack colors (optional for better recording quality). 5 Connect your VCR Video Out jacks to the DTV VIDEO1 jacks, matching connector colors to jack colors. 6 Press the MENU key on the DTV’s remote and select All Channel Search to program in off-air antenna channels. (Refer to the owner’s manual for specific instructions.) |

7 Use the INPUT key on the DTV remote to select Video 1 to watch Cable channels and for VCR playback. NOTES: You can record a Cable channel and watch an off-air analog or digital channel, where available. VCR must be powered ON and the DTV must be set to view Video 1 signals to watch Cable channels, see item 7. Select all Cable channels with the Cable box tuner. Set VCR channel to match RF output from Cable box (usually channel 2, 3, or 4). Check with your provider for details. |
