ADVANCED HIGH-DEFINITION CABLE BOX TO DTV HOOKUPS
Refer to the user’s guide that came with your HD Cable box for available hookup
options and operating instructions.
HDMI CONNECTION (INPUT1, INPUT2, & INPUT3)
1 Connect an HDMI cable to the HD Cable Box and to one of the DTV HDMI Input jacks.
2 Press the INPUT key on the remote to select HDMI 1, HDMI 2, or HDMI 3 to match your connection.
3 Use the HD Cable Box’s remote to change channels.
NOTE: Use any HDMI jack to connect your HDMI equipped Device.
DVI-TO-HDMI CONNECTIONS (INPUT1 ONLY)

Connect a DVI-to-HDMI adapter cable* to the HD Cable Box and to DTV
HDMI INPUT1.
*Or you may use a DVI adapter with an HDMI cable.
2 Connect the HD Cable Box Audio out to the DTV VIDEO3 L/R Audio In
3 Press the INPUT key on the DTV’s remote to select HDMI 1.
4 Use the HD Cable Box’s remote to change channels.
NOTE: Component Video3 video cannot be used to connect any other device with this hookup option.
