ADVANCED DVD PLAYER / HD DVD PLAYER / DVD RECORDER TO DTV HOOKUPS
Refer to the owner’s manual that came with your DVD device for available hookup
options and operating instructions.
HDMI CONNECTIONS (INPUT1, INPUT2, & INPUT3)
1 Connect an HDMI cable to the device and to one of the DTV’s HDMI INPUT jacks.
2 Press the INPUT key on the remote to select HDMI 1, HDMI 2, or HDMI 3 to match your connection.
NOTE: Use any HDMI jack to connect your HDMI equipped device.
DVI-TO-HDMI CONNECTIONS (INPUT1 ONLY)

Connect a DVI-to-HDMI adapter cable* to your device and to the DTV HDMI
INPUT1.
*Or you may use a DVI adapter with an HDMI cable.

Connect your device’s Audio out to the DTV Video3
Audio In L/R.
3 Use the INPUT key on the DTV’s remote to select HDMI 1.
NOTES: Component VIDEO3 cannot be used to connect any other device with this hookup option.
NOTE: For input connections to a DVD recorder, click on Antenna/DVD Recorder, Cable/DVD Recorder, Cable Box/DVD Recorder or Satellite/DVD Recorder.
