STANDARD SATELLITE RECEIVER / VCR / ANTENNA / DTV HOOKUPS

Refer to the user’s guide that came with your Satellite receiver and your VCR owner’s manual for available hookup options and operating instructions.

SATELLITE RECEIVER / VCR / ANTENNA / AV CONNECTIONS (VIDEO1)

1 Connect the Satellite receiver “OUT” terminal to the VCR “IN” terminal using a 75 ohm coaxial cable.

2 Connect an antenna to the ANT terminal on the DTV.

3 Connect the Satellite receiver Video Out jacks to the VCR Video In jacks, matching connector colors to jack colors (optional for better recording quality).

4 Connect the VCR Video Out jacks to the DTV Video 1 jacks, matching connector colors to jack colors.

5 Press the MENU key on the DTV’s remote and select All Channel Search to program in off-air antenna channels. (Refer to the owner’s manual for specific instructions.)

6 Use the INPUT key on the DTV’s remote to select VIDEO 1 to watch Satellite channels and for VCR playback.

NOTES: You can record a Satellite channel and watch an off-air analog or digital channel, where available.

VCR must be powered ON and the DTV must be set to view Video 1 signals to watch Satellite channels, see item 6.
