STANDARD SATELLITE RECEIVER / VCR / DTV HOOKUPS

Refer to the user’s guide that came with your Satellite receiver and your VCR owner’s manual for available hookup options and operating instructions.

SATELLITE RECEIVER / VCR / AV CONNECTIONS (VIDEO1)

1 Connect the Satellite receiver “OUT” terminal to the VCR “IN” terminal using a 75 ohm coaxial cable.

2 Connect the VCR “OUT” terminal to the DTV ANT terminal using a 75 ohm coaxial cable.

Optional Connections for better quality recording and playback

3 Connect the Satellite receiver Video Out jacks to the VCR Video In jacks, matching connector colors to jack colors.

4 Connect the VCR Video Out jacks to the DTV VIDEO 1 jacks, matching connector colors to jack colors.

NOTES: You cannot watch off-air analog and digital channels.

Set DTV channel to match RF output from Satellite receiver
(usually channel 2, 3, or 4).
