We offer our customers the benefit of rapid product development, turn key battery pack design and manufacturing by providing extensive local and international capabilities. SANYO's local capabilities include our ISO 9000 Engineering and Design Center and Model Shop in San Diego, CA and a highly automated cell and battery pack manufacturing facility in Tijuana, Mexico. Our international capabilities include engineering, design, modeling and manufacturing in Japan. We also have manufacturing and support services in Europe, Great Britain, Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, China and South America.

Rapid Prototyping
From initial design, using Pro-Engineer files, SANYO can provide rapid prototypes of functional products.

Testing and Evaluation
Our testing and evaluation capabilities include shock and vibration testing, humidity and environment evaluation, and cycle-life analysis.

Engineering
Our San Diego Engineering Center provides SANYO customers with complete mechanical, electrical and systems engineering support. The team includes project managers, mechanical, electrical and manufacturing engineers, drafters, technicians and modelers. Our engineering group is experienced in every aspect of battery pack design and development. We utilize 10 Pro-Engineer work stations to complete the design and documentation of battery packs. Additional engineering resources are also available in Japan.
